From Doug Gaddy on Facebook, 3/02/18: Well, Annie and I would like to make it official. We are gonna close Absolute. We each have different things we want to do. So, this is the conclusion of a ten-year plan I had for our dear creation/experiment Absolute Vinyl Records & Stereo. I just can’t believe nearly ten years have passed– already. Thanks to all of you who helped, shopped, performed, volunteered, worked, played, supported, talked-up & loved our little shop. A lot of hands touched it and a lot of smiles happened in it. Annie and I thank all of you so much. I want to especially thank Radio 1190, First Base Tapes and The Boulder Daily Camera. Their support has been constant and invaluable. And they in turn deserve everyone’s support. Boulder would be a sadder place without them!
