Garth Brooks’ Denver concert – it didn’t rain!

DENVER (CBS4) – As if Denver couldn’t ride any higher from Garth Brooks’ concert at Broncos Stadium at Mile High on Saturday, the country music super star shared the love with a Colorado-born former astronaut.

Jack Fischer, a Colorado native, Air Force Academy graduate and former NASA astronaut, was among the 84,000 fans at the stadium.

Fischer tweeted about the incredible night.
My fave song (River), rocked by my fave singer (@garthbrooks), in my fave stadium (@Broncos), sitting next to my fave person (@littlebitfish)-what an anniversary gift! This man is so good to the core of his soul, that his infectious energy makes us all better—incredible night!

The Denver crowd was out of this [world] , right? I know you know a thing or two about that!!! HA!!! love, g

Brooks tweeted moments after the concert ended saying “Epic is an understatement.”
