The ‘New’ Rachel & The Ruckus!

In other extremely exciting, stick-banging news… We discovered that Canadians rock! Six exhausting weeks. Drummer auditions that seemed to go on forever. Amazing talent to choose from and a hard decision, but, in the end, we’re proud to welcome: Drummer Glenn Austin to the Ruckus!

Here’s a little bit about Glenn:
Glenn grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In college, he apprenticed with percussionist Jim Faraday (Symphony Nova Scotia) and internationally renowned jazz drummer Jerry Granelli. Across Canada, he has played with the Savoy Ellington Big Band, recorded for broadcast television and film, and received the Galaxie Music Rising Star Award in conjunction with Jazz East. As a new resident of Colorado, he’s dived right into making a Ruckus!

At our next show feel free to chat at Glenn! He’s good company. Ask him about things…like, Canadian beer or big moose or maple syrup…
More shows are coming! So stay tuned…..
