The Hollow at Goosetown Tavern, Denver, CO

Denver, CO: “The meeting of two personalities is like the CONTACT of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.” The Hollow’s new EP titled, Contact, was inspired by this Carl Jung quote. Recommended for fans of Incubus, Thrice, and/or The Dear Hunter.

Following a successful listening party at Skate City, the Contact EP will be available to the general public on October 1, 2018, followed by a special release show at the Marquis Theater in Denver on Saturday, October 13, 2018 with The Trujillo Company, Bitter Suns and Thousand Frames. “Life is happening right NOW, and this EP is our tip-of-the-hat to vintage rock and roll. The instrumentals for Contact were tracked live and the songs are about conversation. Human interaction. We wanted to track our songs as they’re intended to be heard by a live audience. Pure and honest. I mean, we touched up the record some but we didn’t add a Snapchat filter,” says founder and frontman, Spencer Townshend Hughes.
