Teal piano

It’s local jazz at its best. Neil Bridge is a composer/arranger and outstanding pianist who has played with the likes of Nancy Wilson, Mel Torme and the Mills Brothers. In honor of his years of teaching music in the Denver Public Schools, there is a room named for him at Denver School of the Arts. We were delighted to be able to provide a piano for Neil Bridge Day at City Park Jazz (check out the video – http://www.neilbridgemusic.com/) a couple of years ago. We are delighted finally to be in a position to host Neil & Karen and the rest of the band on our humble stage.

It’s always hard for me to tell who adores who more!

Neil & Karen will have with them:
Adolph Mares – Bass
Kevin Smith – Drums
Bob Rebholz – Saxes and Flute
Warren will join them on percussion. It’s going to be a full stage!

Now that I have you hooked, here are the details:

When: Saturday, May 7th (Make it a Mother’s Day weekend treat!)
Where: The Front Room @ AmericanClassicPiano.com | 2005 Dallas Street, Aurora 80010 – loads of free parking.
Time: 6:30 doors; 7:30 – Neil Bridge & crew will begin
Cost: $30 per person includes hors d’oeuvres and desserts

Since we have a pianist on board for the evening, Warren will be doing his short set to open on his cuatro, which is a 10 stringed (don’t ask) Puerto Rican instrument rather like a mandolin.

To mix things up a bit this time, we will still have open bar but will be doing hors d’oeuvres and desserts instead of a heavy dinner.

Per usual, since we have limited seating, I will need payment in advance per check or credit card. $30/person.

Call or email me for payment.

Lastly, for those of you who have been drooling over this fun piano, it is on its way to a happy home in CA. Be thinking about the next color.
