Ric Cabot Podmore says: Unfortunately, this is a ‘self-induced’ problem created by the music buying public themselves. Ever since tangible recorded product (CDs, etc.) sales have diminished, artists have no other choice than to tour extensively and charge inflated ticket prices. If someone complains about a ticket price, my first question is, “How many songs are on your playlist that you didn’t pay for?”. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news ‘Walmarters’, but just like leaving shopping carts wherever and disregarding public restrooms, higher prices are ‘on you’.
