AN EVENING WITH SKANSON & HANSEN AT AMERICAN CLASSIC PIANO
Pardon me for talking Christmas before Thanksgiving, but it’s important! Get this on your holiday calendar.
Saturday, December 5th. A holiday evening with the inimitable Skanson & Hansen. If you’ve never seen them you will be their next groupies.
Something very unique & beautiful happens when a classical & acoustic guitar play together. Something about the fingernails on the nylon and the flesh on the steel that creates a sound that is rarely heard. However, Skanson & Hansen have indeed found this sound. They bring their audiences this fresh, rich, original musical style called double-finger style guitar. That’s right – they’re both playing melody, chords, & bass at the same time. It’s orchestral as well as funky!!
Now add in Warren’s percussion, and you have a magical experience to kick off your holiday season. They will debut their new holiday album, and CDs will be available.
Join us for a cozy evening of warm music, warm food (Holly’s cooking again), hot drinks (cold if you prefer), and warm fuzzies.
