Denver’s own Sammy Mayfield making his first appearance at the Soiled Dove for two shows on January 16th. Sammy, who is one of Colorado’s most popular and prestigious performers, has never played the wonderful Soiled Dove venue so this will be a real treat!

NEXT COMBO WORKSHOP ON “BUSKING IN COLORADO” OR “HOW TO LEGALLY BE A STREET PERFORMER”!
Guest speakers, including Chris Cheslin of FourCasters, will talk as to how they have mastered the art of “Busking” – or being a street performer in Colorado. We’ll cover the rules for busking in Denver, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Grand Junction, Durango, and Sterling – and others as info comes up. This will include whether you will need to have a permit, if you are allowed to ask for tips, if you can use a P.A., and if you need permission from the near-by businesses to stand on their corner!
Chris Cheslin is a member of FourCasters Band. He is a singer/songwriter/guitarist who has “busked” in several cities in Colorado and will be sharing his experiences with us. He has been “welcomed” and “thrown out” so he has been through it all!
