Colorado Composers Concert Winners from the stage!
Congrats to the following composers selected for performance on this year’s Colorado Composer’s Concert. Eric Alexander, Egemen Kesikli, Sarah Perske, Jasper Schmich Kinney, Nelson Walker, Tyler Wigginton, and of course, Sara Corry!

Now in its 11th year, the Playground’s annual Colorado Composer’s Concert (CoCoCo) showcases chamber music written by residents of Colorado and students at Colorado higher education institutions.

Local Band Augustus Hits the Road to SXSW Supporting Their Latest Release
Supporting their latest critically acclaimed release, The Mercury EP, the eclectic Colorado rock outfit Augustus will embark on a 3 week, 12 show tour arriving in Austin with the hopes of cutting through the noise of SXSW.

As with the band’s previous releases, ‘The Mercury EP’ has been licensed for use by MTV, Discovery Channel and the E! Channel. Singles have appeared on national podcasts and the album was included in The Appetizer Radio Show’s Top 14 albums of 2016.
Augustus has been on the road all winter touring through Colorado, MT, and Idaho. This will be the band’s first time in the Southwest.
