Congratulations|

Giddy up: Denver singer-songwriter Brent Cowles is going solo. Okay, that’s not really news. His old band You Me And Apollo broke up at the end of 2014, and Cowles has announced he was going his own way in early 2016.

But today, Cowles spilled some exciting details about his new venture: “Cold Times,” his debut EP, has a release date (April 28) and a home on respectable national indie label Dine Alone Records. He’ll share a roster with the likes of FIDLAR, Delta Spirit, Jimmy Eat World and some band called the Lumineers.

Cowles also announced a handful of tour dates, leading up to an EP release show at the Hi-Dive on April 28. Tickets are $12-$15 and go on sale March 10 at 10 a.m. via http://ticketfly.com.
