Please join us in celebrating Leo’s short – but amazing and happy life.

Many times in the last week we prayed for a miracle of life. Just maybe we did see a miracle, not what we envisioned, but a miracle nonetheless, as 2 children will have life. Leo will live on forever in our hearts and Leo’s big heart will beat on. Love you little guy,

Leo Davis Bibler (October 28, 2014 to May 27, 2016)

Leo Davis Bibler, a true little angel in life, was granted his angel wings on May 27th, 2016. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Leo had touched in so many special ways. He was a little guy but his impact on everyone he met was huge.

Leo’s life was far too short and he will be missed tremendously by everyone who entered his life. He was the happiest boy ever known, his face was in a constant smile that grew even wider when he saw his Mom and Dad, his grandma or grandpa, or his special uncle. In his 19 months he smiled and laughed and was filled with more happiness than most grown-ups feel in their entire lifetime. Those who were touched by him and loved him, understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. He loved to learn new things and would beam with pride when he did and you told him what a great job he had done.

His smile could melt the hearts of those around him and made it easy for him to get into all kinds of playful little boy mischief. He was never happier than when he had his hands full of things that weren’t his. And while he had plenty of toys, he preferred to raid his grandpa’s table for his cell phone, computer mouse, and water bottle, or playing with the dog’s dishes and pilfering dog toys, and anything else he wasn’t supposed to have.

Leo was just starting to talk and loved to chatter away the day and as he did his thoughts could always be heard. He was “all boy” and loved to wrestle and jump on his dad’s back, or torment the dogs and cats. He had a fascination with anything with wheels, loving cars and trucks, he couldn’t pass anything with a wheel on it without spinning it. Anything in his hand became a truck that he would push across any surface and supply the roaring motor sound effects, this impromptu vehicle could even be a dog bone or a rock, it didn’t matter, because even at this young age he had a heck of an imagination.

He loved books and could empty a bookcase in minutes, bringing you book after book, and crawling up on your lap to listen and turn the pages while you read to him, and you had to read fast because he was a quick page turner!

He loved being outside and going to the park, playing on the slide and swings. He was adventurous and fearless and would try anything on the playground! Water was a favorite source of wonder and he was drawn to water bowls, fountains, ponds and puddles, and they were never complete until he poked his hands in them. He loved his Bronco’s rocking horse, and Pluto, and his Thomas the train ‘popper’. Leo loved anything with lots of parts to it that he could take apart and scatter, the more the merrier.

He was a tough little guy, who touched our lives in ways never thought possible. With his smile and big heart he led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. Every day was a new adventure.

Little Leo, our best little buddy, our happiest little guy reminds us that his life is one to be celebrated. We will miss him every day, especially his winning smile. He will forever remain in our hearts. We were able to create wonderful memories and it has been a privilege to be his parents, his grandparents, and his uncles and aunts. Leo may have been small but he is the biggest hero that this family has ever known. We all take comfort in knowing that because of Leo, two other children will have life, and two other families are avoiding the heart break that we have endured.

Leo is survived by his loving parents, David Bibler and Kelly Cavallero; maternal grandparents Chick and Patti Cavallero; maternal grandmother, Louise Cavallero; paternal grandparents Tom and Barb Bibler; honorary grandparents Larry and Gill Pollock; uncles Casey Cavallero, Travis Bibler, Erick Ciske, and Brian Ciske; aunts Krista Johnson and Nikki Bubser; and cousins Keilee Bubser, Lauren Bubser, Gage Ciske, Tyler Smith, Brady Smith, Laney Johnson and Delilah Johnson.
