Carissa Shafer on Fb, 9/14/17: Boogie Bob I’m at loss for words. The world will miss the most amazing and caring man. You touched everyone you knew and didn’t know. The kind of friend that was always there with a smile that is forever ingraved in my memory. RIP you sweet soul. — feeling lost. (Robert Olson)

Hello to my dad’s many friends and family:

Please join us to celebrate the life of Boogie Bob on October 6, 2017, 1:00pm, at Augustana Lutheran Church, 5000 E Alameda Ave, Denver, CO 80224. The funeral service will be followed by a ceremony in the memorial garden where Boogie’s remains will rest. Then the family invites you to stay for a reception in the fellowship hall where Boogie’s music will be played and stories and memories will be shared.

In fairness to all the singers and performers and out of respect for Bob’s day, the family requests that music be limited to Bob’s. A future benefit for Boogie could include performances by all those that preformed with him in the past.

All the best,

Jerry
