In Memoriam|

Vinnie DeFrancis passes September 8th.

From Steve Wilson on Fb, 8/09/17: My dear friend and fellow musician Vinnie Defrancis passed on Sept. 8th. There will be a musical memorial at The Westminster Brewing Company, 7655 W. 108th Ave., Broomfield, CO. Date to be announced soon.

Come join us & many of Vinnie’s musician friends for a celebration of Vinnie’s life. If you have some fond stories of Vinnie’s please post here

Playing music with Vinnie for the last 10 years has been a real honor. Not only the quality of the music but, also the quality of the man. The stories, the jokes, the political satire. Some of my fondest memories was the 4 of us (Vinnie, Rick, Camillo & I) sitting around the table before practice, bull shitting about the days events. Many times 4 different points of view, but all understood and appreciated the various views. That’s what I call Brothers. Thank you Vinnie, Rick & Camillo.

From Camillo Coogan: Today the world lost one the greatest mentors, musicians, humorists, fathers, luthier, well spoken , humble , sarcastic, ornery, brilliant , funny, fun loving, sweet, good looking, and good hearted souls that I’ve every had the honor of knowing. Our beloved Vinnie Defrancis passed peacefully today due a tough and hard fight battle against pulmonary and other complications. He will undoubtedly will be missed by us all.

We will be having a musical benefit/ memorial on October 14th – details will be posted soon.
Respectfully written by Camillo Coogan
