This is no joke. After our Dead For Denver show last night, Jason LeBaron, Allison Wolters and I were involved in a drive by shooting. After picking up some beer at the liquor store on 6th and Chambers, a car followed us from the parking lot and shot into our truck 5 to 6 times hitting Jason twice in the leg and shattering the driver’s window. All I remember is a bunch of loud shots and Jason yelling “I’m shot!” There was blood all over Jason’s hand after he reached down and felt his leg so he drove as fast as he could to the hospital with a bleeding leg wound.
When we got to the hospital Jason fell out of the truck and his entire left leg was drenched in blood. I tied off his upper leg with my shirt and rushed him into the emergency room screaming “My friend just got shot! Someone help him!” I thank god no one is dead but I am still scared shitless. Bullets flew in the window and out the other. I could have watched my best friend die. EVERYONE WATCH YOUR BACK — ESPECIALLY IN AURORA. THIS GUY WANTED TO KILL. BULLETS FLEW THROUGH THE TRUCK.
If everyone can please send your thoughts towards Jason he has a bullet wedged in his shin and no health insurance. There is going to be a fundraiser for him because he can not afford all of the medical bills. Any help that anyone can give to him would be much appreciated. Thanks, everyone. I’m glad we are all still alive.
