FROM LIONEL WHITE ON FACEBOOK, 12/23/14: Have you ever listened to a song and thought – Wow, I wonder how long it took them to write that one? Are you a fan of those songs with so many twists and turns, time changes, & slow parts? Or would you buy music that was a little bit more simple? Have you had the experience of listening to a band and thinking that they really tried to put 10 pounds of s*** in a 4 pound sack? Did that do anything for you, or turn you off to the band? Do you think the band was trying to show off its ability, or truly write a song that people would like and purchase? So much on my mind this morning.
