Titwrench is a Denver-based art collective that been producing genre-bending events under the name since 2008. Our events are all ages-friendly whenever possible and feature under-represented and emerging women and LGBTQIAP+ artists from a myriad of genres, pushing the boundaries of genre and form with a focus on sound art and music.
WE LOVE EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC but we are also open to any and all genres. Our audience is open, loving and attentive to performers, providing a great experience for everyone involved. So… the weirder your performance, the better!
We have been producing an annual festival, monthly parties, showcases and events since 2008.
Past participants have included Diane Cluck, Caldera Lakes, Lady Wu-Tang, Snake Rattle Rattle Snake, Marlo Eggplant, Diane Cluck, Milch de la Máquina, Amy Annelle, Demon Sleeper, Married in Berdichev, Rusalka, Bigawatt, and many more artists making new, daring and advanced work that you may or may not have heard of. Our festival is a participatory experience, much more than big names and sponsors. This is about community and evolving our art together.
Titwrench events also feature next level fashion/crafts/workshops/yoga/visual art/film/interactive art/experiments galore! If you have an idea for a free-floating art experiment, please submit it here too.
NOTE: All submissions are due by Wednesday, May 22nd, 2017 at MIDNIGHT.

NEASTA Fiddle Tune Composition Contest Deadline is THIS Monday
Just a quick reminder that May 15th is the deadline for your fiddle tune submissions to the Nebraska ASTA 15th Annual Fiddle Tune Composition Contest. The top three tunes will be announced in June 2017, published in “Stringing Along”, the NeASTA quarterly journal, and will be awarded $100/75/50 respectively.
