Talent Needed|

On November 11. Otis Taylor is once again bringing his unique Trance Blues Workshop to eTown Hall in Boulder. Musicians, singers, writers, educators, all instruments and All Ages are welcome. The newest novice and seasoned musician can both benefit from this workshop that is like nothing you have ever experienced. With Otis Taylor, it’s best to expect the unexpected.

While his music, an amalgamation of roots styles in their rawest form, discusses heavyweight issues like murder, homelessness, tyranny, and injustice, his personal style is lighthearted.

Workshop participants will join with Otis Taylor and numerous visiting artists (CJ Chenier, Damon Fowler, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, Brian Juan, Anne Harris, Larry Thompson, Marcella Simien, Todd Edmunds, Cassie Taylor, Rex Peoples and Beth Rosbach) for both the morning and afternoon sessions. The evening performance will feature Otis and the visiting artists as well as a number of the workshop participants. All workshop participants will be admitted to eTown Hall for the performance and evening-only passes include audience admission to the performance.

The Colorado Blues Society is an annual sponsor of his amazing event and once again will have “scholarships” for a select number of students. If you are interested in a CBS scholarship to the Workshop send an email to chick1951@hotmail.com and let us know your name, age, instrument and why you would like to attend. We hope to hear from you soon! Kids under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
