Talent Needed|

Denver Public Art invites you to learn about the public art program and how to create a winning proposal. Denver’s diverse artistic and creative professionals are locally cultivated and flourishing!

This workshop will cover all of the steps in creating a proposal once you have been selected as a finalist for a public art project, including dos and don’ts. We’ll discuss examples of successful proposals, and hear tips for presenting in front of a public art selection panel. Local artist Michael Clapper, and Mowry Studio founder and member of Denver’s Commission on Cultural Affairs, Michael Mowry, will be presenting. After the presentation, attendees will have the chance to meet fabricators, commissioners, public artists, representatives from regional public art programs and the Denver Public Art team. Artists who have never received a commission are highly encouraged attend.
