COMBO Business Member AirShow Mastering sends an update on its mastering clients: Rhino continues the series of 50th anniversary releases of the Grateful Dead catalog. “Wake Of The Flood” represented several new beginnings for the band. It was the first studio album with keyboardist Keith Godchaux, and the first release on Grateful Dead Records, a revolutionary move at the time. The deluxe package includes a remaster of the studio album, two bonus cuts of song demos that Jerry Garcia recorded and brought to the group, and a portion of a show two weeks after the original album release in 1973. Mastered by David Glasser, produced by David Lemieux, with Plangent Processes tape restoration by Jamie Howarth.

“Wake Of The Flood” contains songs that would become mainstays in the Grateful Dead repertoire: “Stella Blue,” “Eyes of the World,” and “Here Comes Sunshine.” We’re stoked about this record!

Pre-order in advance of the September release.
