The Roots Music Project is having a benefit for the Colorado Blues Society Saturday July 17 at the Funky Roots Music Warehouse 4747 Pearl, Suite V3A Boulder, CO 80301. There will be THREE great bands- The Delta Sonics, The Vipers and Blues Shoes. Doors at 7, show at 7:30. Proceeds of the evening will go to the Colorado Blues Society to help CBS a 501c3 non profit who works throughout the area to support and promote the blues music we all love. CBS has a Blues in the Schools program to teach our youth about the blues and the John Alex Mason Scholarship fund for sending youth to national blues programs. CBS honors individuals who have made extraordinary contributions, and works with local nonprofits, civic organizations and businesses to strengthen the awareness and appreciation of the Blues as an art form.

* Al Chesis, of The Delta Sonics, will also be playing with Steady Rollin’ Bob Margolin at Roots Music Project on August 27.
