Thoughts and Prayers|

From Brother Rob: For all of you who don’t believe prayer works, that’s all that is, a belief. There is a difference between a belief, and a knowing. I have a knowing. Prayer works – it saved my life! I had a condition that, in most cases, I wouldn’t be talking to you right now, or at least for a very long time. I know that through all – the love and prayers being sent my way – indeed helped my recovery. I have NO doubt about it. THANK YOU everyone! Even if you don’t “believe”, still pray for anyone, or anything you think needs it. It doesn’t take that much effort!!

Paying it forward: From Brother Rob on Fb, 2/14/15: When it rains, it pours. This has got to be the worst couple of months for bad news I think EVER! I just got news that a friend of all of ours has tested positive for cancer. Paul Raffa (former soundman at Bangles) will be starting treatment on February 24th. Please send lots of prayers his way, and let’s see if we can help nip this in the bud. Let’s create a miracle here for him!

Bobbi Kristina “Krissie” Brown: Krissie continues on life support. Varied reports continue to come out. Regardless, prayers are needed that God – whichever one that may be – take her in his/her arms.

COLORADO SPRINGS PHILHARMONIC TUBIST FIGHTING FOR SURVIVAL FOLLOWING JANUARY CRASH

A Woodland Park musician remains unconscious three weeks after he was thrown from a sport utility vehicle in a crash on Interstate 25 near Monument, friends and relatives say.

Charles Ortega, 41, suffered a traumatic brain injury, a fractured pelvis and other broken bones in the Jan. 18 rollover near Monument Hill.

He is under intensive care at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs, where he reportedly has been unable to communicate.

“He’s improving, but that’s a long way from recovered,” said Nathan Newbrough, president of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, in which Ortega serves as principal tuba player. “The fact that he’s still unconscious is a cause for grave concern for a lot of us.”
