“Born to fun” Denver band Bud Bronson & the Good Timers invite the world to “take flight on the eagle of your dreams, pals” with the momentous announcement of their signing with Illegal Pete’s record label, Greater Than Collective. Described as “arena rock in dive bars” or “glory rock & roll,” Bud Bronson’s music is supposed to be fun, and it usually is, but once in a while, it can be a little bit sad, and that’s okay, too. Because anyone who says they are happy 100% of the time is lying to you.
Scientists estimate that in 5 billion years, our sun will turn into a red giant, explode and extinguish all life on our planet. But that’s a pretty long way away, so up until, Bud Bronson & the Good Timers are going to keep on doing what they do best: driving to your town, turning their amps up to 11, indulging in gratuitous guitar pyrotechnics, sampling your region’s finest cheap beers, unfurling their Therm-a-rests on your living room floor, spending all their cash on gas for the Partycraft USA and finally, like the ghosts of parties past, vanishing into the sunset forever.
They plan to continue along this course with the eager support of Greater Than Collective, releasing a single in the summer and an album in the fall. And with that, we’ll leave you with a special message from the Good Timers:
