Red Rocks Ampitheatre: Ron Ruhoff/ Denver Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau

The 19th season of Film on the Rocks returns to Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre with seven films including “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” “Heathers,” “The Big Lebowski,” “Happy Gilmore,” “The Goonies” and “Black Panther.” Presented by Denver Film Society and Denver Arts & Venues, each film will be preceded by a live concert or local comedian, courtesy of Comedy Works. Tickets for all of the films go on sale [Wednesday] morning at 10 a.m.

Film on the Rocks is a collaborative production of the Denver Film Society and Denver Arts & Venues and was created to provide an affordable opportunity for the community to enjoy films and live entertainment at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

The first film screened in the program was Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather. In 2017, more than 54,000 people attended Film on the Rocks events.
