The Music World is mourning the deaths of three greats this week: Charlie Watts of the Rolling Stones, country story-telling star Tom T. Hall, and rock legend Don Everly (my personal favorite song of the Everly Brothers is “All I Have To Do is Dream”). All had a terrific influence over me and countless others regarding our musical careers. Articles follow. And we wish their souls peace and love. That super band in the sky, sadly, just keeps getting bigger and better!

The scores have been tabulated and the winners of COMBO’s Songwriting Contest will be announced in a couple of weeks! We look forward to sharing those winners with you! The compilation CD will be shared with the music pros at the Durango Songwriters Expo the first of October, and many will be given to local radio stations around Colorado who are open to playing original music.
