. . .Robert Hojaboom for winning the drawing for the entry into the Durango Songwriters Expo being held at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield October 1st thru 4th. The names of all the songwriters who entered COMBO’s 3rd Annual Songwriting Contest were literally thrown into a hat and Robert’s name was drawn by an impartial third party! We look forward to Robert’s report on his experience at the DSE!

. . . THESE 10 WINNERS OF THE COMBO SONGWRITING CONTEST
We have ten definite winners of COMBO’s Songwriting Contest but we had not finished the tallying by the time this newsletter needed to go out. Names and titles of their songs are not available at this time but the numbers of the songs are 14, 16, 22, 23, 27, 31, 43, 50, 51, and 70. The songwriters were assigned numbers for their song entries, and the judges only had numbers to go by so that they did not know the names of the writers, performers, or the names of the songs in order to prevent a conflict of interest. These songs, plus several more top scorers, will be put on the compilation CD to be handed out at the Durango Songwriters Expo to record companies, publishers, music supervisors, and more. Final results will be announced next week!
The CDs will be replicated by local CD/DVD company CODA!
