By Ana Campbell, Denverite | Get your dancing pants on: The Levitt Pavilion has announced its first round of free concerts this summer.

Starting May 22, the outdoor concert venue in lovely Ruby Hill Park will host artists nearly every week at shows that are absolutely free to attend. Bring a blanket, chairs and some snacks and you’ve got yourself a guaranteed good time. All Levitt asks is that you RSVP at its website, levittdenver.org. Ticketed events are also on the sched, the first being the Celctic Woman concert on May 24; tickets start at $39.75.

Last year, Levitt held 50 concerts with over 44,000 attendees. Of all the bands that played, 56 were from Colorado and nearly 50 percent of the bands featured female talent.

Here are the free shows announced so far for summer 2020. The asterisks indicate artists who perform in English and Spanish.

May 22 – Gondwana with E.N Young * (reggae from Santiago, Chile)

June 5 – Busty and the Bass (electro-soul from Quebec, Canada)
