East meets West: Ms. Sudan & COMBO president Barb Dye work on balancing relations at the Five Points Jazz Festival! (Photo by Annette Cannon)

My apologies if you got more than one copy of the newsletter last week. Our service provider got a hitch-in-the-git-along and I kept hitting the “send” button. Shouldn’t have done that! | Lost: Kathy Carpenter is looking for an “Eagle’s Nest” recording studio that was in Littleton or for Jerry Nelson & Scott Nelson. She wants permission to record a song that they produced, “I Don’t Want My Mansion Here” but she does not know the name(s) of the songwriter. AND still looking for the owner of a water bottle left at the March meeting.

COMBO is about the “Business” of Music. Our mission is to disseminate information that musicians need to know in order to advance their own careers! Our articles represent some phase of music business that could effect musicians everywhere.
.
PLEASE! Don’t kill yourself. Call a friend, wait until after midnight, get a lot of sleep, or call 1-800-273-TALK. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Trust us – You’ll be glad you stayed alive at some point in the near future. Walk outside and look at the stars and think how much you will miss them. You have a purpose in life – you will find it but you need time.
