EVENTS: COMBO News, Events, and Other Stuff You Should Know

As many of you know, COMBO was able to buy a new computer 12 years ago with the help of a grant from BMI. However, that computer is now out-of-date – AND out-of-whack! Old programs, old operating system, etc. The COMBO board voted to purchase a new computer for our use and Treasurer David Barber found a super-good one for us at a reasonable price. But the cost was a bit higher than the allowed budget. So both David and COMBO Board member/Music Supervisor Lee Bagby pitched in on the cost. President Barb Dye will pay for the needed software. We want to thank David, Lee, and Barb for helping us to keep up with technology so that we can continue to help our dearest friends in Colorado – the musicians, supporters, and businesses – that make our music industry work!
