The COMBO Board decided to hold our annual Grammy Watching Party on Sunday, January 26th! Due to a scheduling conflict, it worked out really well for us to enjoy the Grammys, especially with Arvada West High School Choir Director Chris Maunu being nominated for Educator of the Year! We will reschedule the Music Cities Convention program for later this spring.

Please plan to join us at The Irish Snug’s Dublin Room (downstairs). The Grammys start at 6:00 p.m. and COMBO President Barb Dye will be there at that time but feel free to join us anytime! This will be a networking-style meeting with a more relaxed, party-type atmosphere. We’ll have drawings for prizes and other cool surprises! Please feel free to bring friends with you. The more, the merrier!

Come early and enjoy a tasty meal from the Snug’s menu. They also have a selection of local beers as well. There is lots of free parking near-by (meters are free after 6:00 p.m., there is a parking lot on the north side of the building, and you can park in the Post Office parking lot a half block north on Marion).

Don’t forget that the Snug is a restaurant so the under 21s can join us so bring the young people in your band. They really need to learn about the business of music before they get scammed somehow!
