These songs were chosen to be on the compilation CD to be given out to several important music businesses such as publishing companies, music supervisors, and record companies. These are in no particular order but “I Lose My Breath” by Rod Tanaka and the late Johnny Brown received the highest score from the judges.
To honor these songwriters and all those who entered our contest, we will be holding a special Awards & Showcase Event this Saturday night, October 29th starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Walnut Room, 3131 Walnut, Denver. The awards will also honor Colorado music businesses whom the COMBO board feels show exceptional customer service to the musicians of Colorado.

An “After Party” will be held starting at 10:00 p.m. with the bands Adrienne O and Ghostman. Adrienne Osborn and the members of Ghostman both had winning songs in this year’s contest (as well as a couple in previous years!) Admission is FREE! The first 50 people attending will receive a coupon good for $2.00 (two dollars) off your purchase of a meal or a drink. We will also hold door prize drawings.
