Jim Schwartzkopf and exhibitor at the Colorado Performing Arts Jamboree

COMBO will be presenting a panel on the subject of “Booking: Fairs & Festivals”since now is the time to book those. We will have several booking agents who will offer the “ins & outs” of how to get booked, what to include in a “promo packet” (either hard copy or EPK), and how best to present yourself.

Scheduled to speak at this time are Matt Need, formerly of KBPI Radio; Jim Schwartzkopf, head of the Colorado Performing Arts Jamboree; and Tony Mason – booking agent for Larimer Lounge and Lost Lake as well as some local festivals. We also are waiting for firm confirmation on one more VIP – who has booked many festivals and is now booking mainly in the Denver area!

The meeting is free, open to the public and to all ages. It will be held from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. in the Irish Snug’s Dublin Room downstairs. Come early and order dinner from The Snug’s awesome menu! Now is a good chance to network with other musicians and to get information that will be valuable to you in the future!
