Join us on February 10th at the Tivoli for our Denver Blue Star Connection Fundraiser. The show will be a spectacular event – headlines by Ryan McGarvey and including My Blue Sky, Chris Daniels and the Kings, and a host of Blue Star kids.
Blue Star is non-profit that provides musical instruments to medically-fragile children and young adults facing cancer and other life-challenging situations. BSC has outfitted over 50 Children’s Hospitals with instruments and gear for music therapy programs. Since 2005 Blue Star has given instruments and support to hundreds of individual kids and hospitals, but could be doing even more with your donations and support.
Tickets are on sale for the event, and we are also accepting items for the silent auction. If you have items to donate contact Lisa Dewitt at 303-875-3116. With your donations we can fulfill our mission to ensure more children have access to the healing power of music.
Blue Star has received the Keeping the Blues Alive Award from the Blues Foundation for its efforts. BSC has also received an award and national recognition from the American Music Therapy Association as a foremost advocate and sole organization supplying instruments for Children’s Hospitals.
