In advance of the MSU Denver at DIME Denver Bachelors Degree programs launching later this year, DIME Denver is hosting an open house on Saturday, January 21st from 1-3:00 p.m. The open house is free and open to all to come check out the DIME space in the Tivoli Student Union (900 Auraria Parkway), and attendees will be treated to refreshments, live performances and short workshops. DIME Denver is a modern music institute that allows young musicians to pursue careers in music while simultaneously earning their Bachelors degrees with MSU Denver. Rather than focus on Classical and Jazz music, MSU Denver at DIME Denver Bachelors degrees in Music Performance (Drums, Bass, Guitar, and Vocals), Songwriting and Music Industry Studies to prepare students for practical, real-world preparation for a successful career in the music industry upon graduation. The programs are taught by experts who are still heavily involved in the industry and can bring their experience into the classroom.
During the open house, attendees will get a preview of classes offered with short workshops, including the Live Performance Workshop, which prepares students to play on stage with professional gear to the highest professional standard. There will also be the opportunity to talk to MSU Denver and DIME Denver team members to learn more about the programs.
