It’s local jazz at its best. Neil Bridge is a composer/arranger and outstanding pianist who has played with the likes of Nancy Wilson, Mel Torme and the Mills Brothers. In honor of his years of teaching music in the Denver Public Schools, there is a room named for him at Denver School of the Arts. We were delighted to be able to provide a piano for Neil Bridge Day at City Park Jazz (check out the video – http://www.neilbridgemusic.com/) a couple of years ago. We are delighted finally to be in a position to host Neil & Karen and the rest of the band on our humble stage.
It’s always hard for me to tell who adores who more!
Neil & Karen will have with them:
Adolph Mares – Bass
Kevin Smith – Drums
Bob Rebholz – Saxes and Flute
Warren will join them on percussion. It’s going to be a full stage!
Now that I have you hooked, here are the details:
When: Saturday May 7th (make it a Mother’s Day treat!)
Where: The Front Room @ AmericanClassicPiano.com | 2005 Dallas St Aurora 80010 – loads of free parking.
Time: 6:30 doors; show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Cost: $30 – includes drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts
Since we have a pianist on board for the evening, Warren will be doing his short set to open on his cuatro, which is a 10 stringed (don’t ask) Puerto Rican instrument rather like a mandolin.
Since we have limited seating, I will need payment in advance per check or credit card.

RED ROCKS SHOWING ‘PURPLE RAIN’ – SOLD OUT!
Chad Aman on Fb, 5/04/16: OK, so as y’all know I’m pretty bad at keeping up with social media. But, Thursday, May 12th, I’m honored to be a major part of the Prince tribute show and the showing of Purple Rain at Red Rocks! Sold out in 24 hours. Incredible talent roster. We will be closing and backin’ an all star version of Purple Rain. Hope to see ya there. If not, I will be playing City Park Jazz with members of Jacob Fred Jazz Odesyy on July 10th. Also have a huge Bowie Tribute brewing for early fall, keep your eyes open for that.
