We are thrilled to announce that Setting the Stage is back on Thursday, September 7th at 7:00 p.m. at the Beacon’s NEW Community Space at 1859 York Street, Denver 80206. It is in the back of the Parkside Mansion, which shares a parking lot with the restaurant Syrup. There is a staircase to down to get down into the garden-level space.
This month we will be exploring the theme of CHANGE through live music, storytelling, and targeted activities.
Our One More Shot Podcast interviewee is Representative Dafna Michaelson Jenet, who is an inspiring powerhouse with an amazing story to tell. We will not be discussing politics. Instead, Dafna will be sharing the story of how she was found (Built a movement! Featured on Good Morning America!), then lost (illness, loss, and other difficult events), and found [herself] again (celebrated author, public speaker, and now serving in the Colorado Legislature). Dafna is a riveting speaker who runs TedX Crestmoor Park Women.
