We were up in Fort Collins for four years and gained some traction, but then recently moved to Denver. It’s been slow going getting new band members, and obtaining gigs in Denver for the last year, so it’s a bit like starting over. So we’d love to meet COMBO members and get to know all of you!
We have an EP release party in Fort Collins this weekend, and then one in Denver (that we’d like to promote as much as possible at the Skylark).

Last Call Romance is a Retro Bluesy-Swing inspired band from Northern Colorado. They are releasing their EP of all original music entitled, Double Funeral Volume 1. Fronted by duo Chris and Emily Winters, they have played shows and festivals all over the front range and beyond, to include the 61st Hemsby Rock n’ Roll Weekender in the U.K., in October of 2018. They were voted “The Best of the Best – Top Performances” at the 2019 UMS.
Jocelyn Rockhold of Ultra5280 described them as “The swingiest, most energetic group of the night… Last Call Romance had just the right amount of spirit to get everyone dancing. Last Call Romance’s complete comfortableness with each other lends itself to an environment that encourages the crowd to be wholly engaged.” Dawn Duncan of Scene magazine stated, “Their old-meets-new style of putting a modern twist on retro-inspired sounds and themes has made them a memorable standout in the music scene here and respected by their musician peers.”
