Photo: David Glasser & Anna Frick (provided by Airshow Mastering) || The International Bluegrass Music Association has announced its nominees for their awards at the 32nd Annual World of Bluegrass in Raleigh NC in late September. Professional members of the Association vote, with the final round voted by a 200-member Panel of Electors.

We’re tickled to see that some of the recordings we thought sounded great when we worked on ’em are among the finalists:

Album of the Year:
Becky Buller’s Distance and Time, mastered by David Glasser
Justin Moses’s Fall Like Rain, mastered by Anna Frick

Instrumental Recording of the Year:
Taxland, Justin Moses with Sierra Hull, mastered by Anna Frick

Collaborative Recording of the Year:

We previously announced the nomination of Anna Frick, Airshow Mastering to the board. Well… Coloradoan Anna Frick was elected to Recording Academy Board of Trustees!

Anna was elected as an at-large member of the national governing body, while also serving on the San Francisco Chapter Board of Governors. Read the whole story from Billboard.
