Cass Clayton on Facebook: Many of you know that my vocal coach, Karen Tucker Patterson, has been a dear friend and mentor to me. I love her with my whole heart and soul. Karen has been very sick and passed away last night. Her passing was peaceful, and I’m grateful that I was able to spend time with her in her last days. She even sat up in bed on Saturday and sang to me with her beautiful, clear voice.
For those of you who knew Karen, miraculous and serendipitous things happened in her presence. She often passed on spiritual guidance in the midst of a voice lesson, and she was a huge personality with exceptional clarity. Today happens to be the official launch of our music video, which I don’t think is a coincidence at all. This is for for the most beautiful woman, my sweet Karen, who will be deeply missed.
