Rob Jones (from the Swan-Law Funeral Obituary)

The current directors of the Colorado Springs chapter of the Nashville Songwriters Association International Mike and Tonya Burns forwarded the following sad news regarding the passing of former director Rob Jone who was only in his mid-fifties:

It is with shock and sadness that I learned of the passing of our good friend Rob Jones. I saw Rob as recently as last week to discuss plans for the workshop. He passed away on August 22. Most of you know that Rob was the founder of the Colorado Springs NSAI chapter. He has been an active leader and an enthusiastic part of the chapter for many years. He always had a friendly smile and his love for music and songwriting was contagious. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sandra and Rob’s family. Those that wish can leave a message for the family at the Swan-Law Funeral Home website. He will be sadly missed.

Best regards,
John Nelson
