In Memoriam|

Paul Raffa on Fb, 6/03/20: Jaye good times bad times . Rest in Peace. Jaye worked for me for many years after the Broadway days. Bangles was our home. Sorry it seems so long ago… Jaye A Steiner – spirit will live on.

Stacey Larimore Christie: Today I learned from my friend Kevin that our childhood friend Jaye
has died.. I already had a sinking feeling when Kevin asked me if I had heard about Jaye…. I just knew.

I met Jaye when I was new to the area in the 6th grade. We all ran around the Green Mountain Townhouses like we owned the place. I remember Jaye, Matt & Darryl finding a King Soopers shopping cart and we all took turns getting into it and pushing each other across the street in traffic (So dumb!)

I remember Jaye and Jason being nearly inseparable as kids.

I remember sitting up in that janky “Rocket Ship” at our park talking mad shit and thinking we had all the answers.

I remember Robert, Jason and Jaye telling me I couldn’t take a dip (Copenhagen) and not throw up…. bet!? I threw up.

Jaye fell on hard times a few years ago. We all worried about him, with him and for him.

“We were little shits. But, that shit was soooooo fun!” Jaye A. Steiner – Rest now.

Pat Fontaine: RIP Jaye. Jaye was part of the XYZ and Puzzle Gut family since the early 90s. We were on the road together for months on end, and I will remember the good times rather than the bad ones. So long, Dawg!

Rick Trefry: Heartbreaking! Jaye and I have been friends for a long time… He was my guitar tech in Angellic Rage. He and I lived together in a place over in Cherry Creek for a while. I used to sit in our apartment while he would put tours together. He was incredible! Had a lot of fun together… I have missed him for a long time. Jaye has been suffering for years. The pain is over my brother. RIP.
