Zakk DeBono on Fb, 6/17/20: I am at a loss of words today. I can’t stop crying. My extra mom, the angel that took me into her home as a child and taught me how to read and write music on piano to be able to play Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Franz Liszt, Yanni, Jim Brickman, Elton John, Billy Joel and all the greats. She drove theory into my brain so much she made my crazy theory mind who I am today. My world just stopped… I never thought this day would come. I love you with all my heart and soul Ro. Thank you for teaching me music theory and piano all those years as a child and being my best friend. You taught me more in this life than anyone could imagine. Being there for me when I needed you most, hanging with you and Bill. I am just sick… I am checking off social media early today. I feel I just need to sleep.

God bless you, Ro. I can’t wait till we meet again.

Other Notable Musicians’ Deaths…

It is so sad to see the listing of just “famous people” who have died from COVID-19, not only musicians but other artists, sports figures, politicians, actors, jurists and so many more. Please stay home – keep YOUR names and those of your loved ones from being added to this list.
