Cass Clayton recording new music at Far & Away Studios!
The photo is from Far & Away Studios in Boulder, where producer, Taylor Scott, and I have been burning the midnight oil to bring new music to you. We’ll be releasing a new song called “City Noise” in May, and it’s so moody and soulful. It’s the first time we’ve used both electric AND upright bass guitars on a song and it feels so right for this tune. We hope you dig the new music! COMBO Member Cass Clayton is lead singer and slide guitar player for the Cass Clayton Band. She has made her way into the hearts of music lovers everywhere with her evocative lyrics, along with a velvety vocal style that varies from gentle and contemplative to a belting range that will knock you flat. Cass is inspired by early influences of funk, blues, jazz, gospel and rock. She has won 6 songwriting awards in the last two years and is currently working on a new album with co-writer/producer, Taylor Scott.
