Congratulations|

The ladies are heading to ASCAP to play this showcase at the end of the month. The 2016 She Rocks Showcase is a unique opportunity for female artists of all styles and ages to perform in front of industry experts, media representatives, artists, publishers and more during the premier conference for songwriters, composers and producers. It is part of the WiMN’s ongoing efforts to provide women in music with a platform to showcase their music.

There is no cover charge to attend the She Rocks Showcase, and an EXPO badge is not required to attend or participate in the Showcase. Drink specials will be provided courtesy of Tinhorn Flats.

Facing West is a band fronted by sisters Caitlin and Sidney. Hailing out of the mountains overlooking Denver, Colo., these singer-songwriting teen sisters have gained recognition for their original music, pumped up with strong lyrics and engaging live performances. They’ve performed together for years and launched their project Facing West in 2014. The two deliver powerfully crisp blood harmonies and provide accompaniment on a variety of instruments including acoustic guitars, mandolin, banjo and more. ERIC TINGSTAD NOMINATED FOR ZMR’S ALBUM OF THE YEAR

The heart warming reception of my latest recording MISSISSIPPI, just continues to grow. After landing in the #2 spot for the top 100 of 2015, it has just been nominated in two categories for the ZMR Awards. In early May I’ll be heading to New Orleans to hopefully collect either “Album of the Year” or “Best Contemporary Instrumental Album.”

The event will be held at The Joy Theater and the rest of the time I’ll be hangin’ in the Historic French Quarter. Coincidence that the Mississippi flows to and ends in New Orleans? Maybe. Maybe not.
