Why, you ask, do we congratulate a Dancing With The Stars finalist?? For two reasons: 1) Riker is a musician who plays with the band R5 and also played a vocalist with The Warblers on the television show “Glee”, and 2) Riker is a Colorado musician who was born and almost raised in Littleton! He attended Denver’s High School for the Performing Arts (I didn’t even know we had one…) However he was so good that his family decided to move him, his mom, and 4 siblings to California when Riker was 15 so that he could further his career. His dad stayed behind for awhile until he could get a job in CA. Riker and his brothers formed a band and they were doing o.k. and then Riker auditioned for Glee and got the part!
