It’s natural to think that the Jamboree is about getting visibility and gigs for individual acts with individual presenters.  But, in addition, I think of the Jamboree – and particularly the Guide – as a chance for “The Performing Arts” in Colorado to show how big we are.  It’s not just about each of us individually, but it’s about all of us together. The Guide provides an opportunity for all of us to be in the same place at the same time – the major touring acts, the nonprofit groups, the family businesses; from the largest ensembles to the individual singer/songwriters; from those who play for the Red Rocks-size audience to those who perform for the smallest birthday party – we are all together in the Guide, the ultimate gathering of Colorado talent.

The Guide is impressive!  Through decades of producing the Guide I have frequently had the experience when handing a copy to someone for the first time to see their eyebrows raise as they flip through and say, “Wow, that’s a lot of acts!” We can’t make that same impact over the internet.

Please register today! And join us in developing markets for Colorado talent.

The bigger the Guide is – the better it works for all of us.

If you were in Guide 2013, it’s easy to renew – just send an email to me with “Renew my listing and ad from 2013!”  If you want to review your 2013 info, let me know and I’ll send it.

Registration is OPEN for Colorado Performing Arts Jamboree 2015

The thirteenth edition of The Guide to Colorado Performers will be published in January 2015.

This desktop companion provides factual information for buyers as they shop for talent for their community events. The Guide has an increasingly regional distribution. Guide 2015 will be available on Amazon! We actively market it not only in Colorado, but in all our neighboring states.  Being available through Amazon opens the possibility of national and international visibility for your ad in the Guide. The Guide is the most important part of the Jamboree marketing effort, since it lives in presenters’ desks long after it is received. Be sure you are registered for the Jamboree by December 27, 2014 so you are included in the Guide. (earlier is better!)

The Jamboree is the only event of its kind in the state, a trade show where you can interact live and in person with approximately 100 talent buyers from across the state and across a wide spectrum of venues.  Buyers are shopping for festivals, summer concert series, library and school performances, and special events.

REGISTER EARLY! – the best advertising we have to bring buyers to the event is an extensive list of tantalizing acts.
