Jamie Krutz and Mark King at a COMBO booth!

The board regretfully accepted the resignation of Terry Minggia of Minggia Entertainment after serving for more than 5 years. We wish him the best in his future endeavors and offer the invitation to rejoin us if time allows. He has become quite busy with management of Sammy Mayfield, and assisting with Five Points Jazz Fest, the Black Arts Festival, and the Taste of Colorado.

Board member Jamie Krutz has graciously volunteered to take over the duties of Bar Code Administrator from John Brick, a/k/a Johnny Rhino. John moved to Tennessee and although all the Bar Code duties were done over the internet, John felt that it was time to “move on” in more ways than one. John had served as COMBO’s Bar Code Administrator for more than 15 years and we truly thank him for his loyalty and service! If you are a dues-paying member of COMBO, one of the perks is a free bar code for your project. If you are needing one, please contact Info@coloradomusic.org and Jamie will be glad to help you out.

And while we’re on the subject – It is that time of the year to recruit new board members. If you are interested in serving on the board and have some time to volunteer, we’d appreciate hearing from you! Qualifications? Being a member of the music community – whether as a musician or as a “supporter” – band management, agent, business, friend – we’re open to welcome you with extended arms.

The COMBO Board is currently:
Barb Dye, President
Annette Cannon, Vice-President
David Barber, Treasurer / Web Master
Mark King, Secretary / New Memberships / Song Contest
Jamie Krutz – Bar Code Administrator
Tracey Chirhart – owner of TAC Productions & Management
Lori & Roger Drienka – Musicians and songwriters
Clark Hagan – Sound engineer – Clark Hagan Productions
Johnnie Johnson – Also director and founder of Innervision
Angela Whaley – Musician and manager of The Hollow
Sheena Morgan – Girls Rock!

And Board-member-in-waiting Lee Bagby – Musician!

Most board meetings are held via telephone conference so you don’t even have to get out of your jammies to attend! Send us a note if you’re interested in helping. Info@coloradomusic.org Note: You must be available to “work” various events in and around Colorado such as the Guitar Show, Five Points Jazz Fest, career days at high schools, etc.
