Denver Ukefest, which began in 2008, features workshops, jams and concerts celebrating the happy little instrument. Workshops for all levels of uke players with performing artists, jams and concerts make up what could possibly be the happiest music festival in Denver. “You can’t be unhappy playing the ukulele,” says uke student Jennifer Masteller. “It’s the most cheerful sound.”
