Colorado’s metal scene is cared and loved for by 13 Nails and their front man John Lambert. Let’s return the favor and help him get a prosthetic eye!
As many of you know back in March I was diagnosed with a choroidal melanoma tumor in my eye. Unfortunately the tumor was too large to be removed or treated which resulted in my eye having to be removed. I have recovered as well as can be expected and back to work and playing music.
I have a lot of adjustments I have to make in my everyday life to be able to function as normal as possible with limited vision. I have been cleared of any other tumors in my body and when they tested the tumor in my eye it gave results of less than 2% chance of any spreading. Right now as things are getting back to normal as best as they can.
Kori and I find ourselves with many medical bills and expenses. As a quality of life issue I am wanting to get a prosthetic eye to make me look as normal as possible. With the amount of bills piling up we are asking for help in getting money raised for the prosthetic as insurance won’t cover it. We aren’t usually the type to ask for financial help but with the circumstances we find ourselves without many options. Many thanks for any help and we appreciate all the support from family and friends!
