Enjoy live original songs from Sharon Glassman’s album “Blame It On Hoboken”, performed by Glassman and Paul Kiteck paired with Colorado Aromatics lightly-scented waters and Denver Dressmaker custom-made fashions. “Blame It On Hoboken” sets a charming modern love story in Frank Sinatra’s hometown. Music: jazz to bluegrass.
Colorado Aromatics’ Dr. Cindy Jones will pair lavender, mint, clary sage and more with Hoboken’s songs. She’ll explain why scents boost mood and memory – and add to the art of live music.
Denver Dressmakers’ fashions will help to transform our performers into Sinatra-era fashion plates. Dressing Sinatra-style is welcome.

ORIENTAL OPRY – 2nd TUESDAYS OF THE MONTH – NEXT ONE JANUARY 13th
Jane Manly, an independent music promoter, presents the Oriental Opry the second Tuesday of every month. The mission is the promotion of astounding Colorado acoustic musicians. Each show features 5 musicians or groups for a 25 minute set. The show is run “Old Time Opry Style” — we sound check at 6:00 p.m. and run the show straight through. Often performers jump in and accompany others groups (with their permission of course!)
The Historic Oriental Theater (and Scott LaBarbara) and Jane are presenting the only local show of its kind in the Denver area. The continuation of the project depends on the support of our music community and attendance is growing steadily.
Where: The Historic Oriental Theater, 44th & Tennyson, Denver
When: Tuesday, January 13th
Time: 7:00 p.m. and lasting until around 10:30 p.m.
Cost: For just $5 you get an incredible variety show!
The show’s master of ceremonies is Joe Kellogg. Joe is a singer/songwriter whose songs have a comedic flare (ask him to play “I’m a Love Fracker”!)
Huge appreciation to all musicians for gracing the stage of the Oriental Theater.
