Hey Everybody! As most of you know, the Expo and its attendees have been having a lot of success over the last few years getting song placements in films and in TV shows. We have placed over a hundred songs! This is great news for Expo-ites!
Four years ago we quietly started the DSE Film & TV Showcase Ventura Beach, CA.
It has been a tremendous success and not only do independent songwriters and producers come seeking song placements, so do the major labels and major artists. They want placements too!
So, this event is pretty exclusive (and pretty expensive). We only take about 30 artists and we generally have over 30 music supervisors… lots of BIG PLAYERS like CBS, DISNEY, SECRET ROAD, CHOP SHOP and a couple dozen more!
This is a very unique industry event and we never have to promote it because word-of-mouth sells it out every year! (Thankfully!)
This year we want to offer a FREE scholarship to one of our Durango-ites (a $2,000 value!).
The winner selected in this new WWAHM for Film & TV Contest will receive free registration in the upcoming May 19-21 Showcase to be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Conference Center located right on Ventura Beach… a fabulous spot… an unforgettable event! (Awesome $3 Fish Tacos on the pier!)
If you have great songs, great production and MASTER TRACKS (rough demos cannot be accepted), we invite you to enter this special contest.
